Phil Dragash

A short 26 minute action film set in the middle-ages. Currently in development. Not much can be known about it, except that it is my primary focus this year. Writing, concepts, storyboards, some choreography, and ultimately cinematography, editing, sound design, producing, and directing.

Hopefully, it will expand and ultimately become real.

2010 - 2013

J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings” unofficial unabridged audiobook. Not only read by me, but with music by Howard Shore (for the film trilogy), and immersive sound effects that provide the written word with a more lifelike experience.

As of 2013, I have completed the entire book, which combined make up 48 hours of listening. Being a one-man venture, this little side-project is not without its errors and minor glitches and mistakes. I have also painted most of the background images on each video frame, and designed each cover.

Concept Sketches

Wand of Gamelon Concept Project (2010)

A collaborator of mine convinced me to work on a "conceptual remake" of the poorly-received 'Wand of Gamelon' Zelda game for the Philips CD-I, and through 2010 and 2011 progress was made until it slowed down into hiatus. However, some sketches have still been released in the preparation to present a video I would have made that would explain how it is possible to turn something seemingly awful into something worthy of the title: "Legend of Zelda"; for now, though... the project is still on a hiatus.
Lord of the Rings Dub (2009)

“The Lord of the Rings: Completely Screwed Over” is a feature-length overdub project that happened by accident in 2007 and finished in 2009 after it was decided to do the whole thing in the summer of the latter year. Voiced by me, Drew Vosburg, and Jake – it takes Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings and spins it on its head by completely redubbing the entire film. Finally compiled and put into one video on Youtube.
Demo Reel (2008)

The "Philm" Demo Reel I edited in 2009 for my old portfolio as an introduction. Within the montage/reel are short films I made from the year 2000 to 2009. It is old, but I think still has some form of entertainment to it. Music by "The Crystal Method"

Phil Dragash (b. Feb 10) is a filmmaker and artist born in Indiana. He lived in Austria, Croatia, and the States. He enjoys directing, designing, and storytelling on many mediums and other art-related projects.
